The Absolute BEST Instant Pot Recipes. Ever.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you lovelies! I hope you all got to spend some quality time enjoying family and loved ones. I know I definitely needed some downtime to soak up all the love and warmth of the season. I’m back though, with a roundup of the absolute best Instant Pot recipes ever!

I was lucky enough to be able to gift a few Instant Pots to loved ones – they had no idea what they were. I promised them they’d be their new obsession! I also promised I’d make a blog post of my top 5 absolute favorite instant pot recipes.

These are foolproof. There is no way you can screw these up.  Are you ready? Let’s go! (Links in Pink!)

  1. My number one most recommended recipe is this one by the Salty Marshmallow for Instant Pot spaghetti. Follow the recipe verbatim and you will have a table full of happy campers. This has been requested constantly by my kids and husband. Amazing.
  2. I don’t know about you, but I’m a butter chicken fanatic. I’m obsessed. When I saw this amazing butter chicken recipe by Two Sleevers, I knew I had to try it. There’s no going back. This recipe is seriously delicious and yields an extra portion of sauce to freeze for later! The only thing I would do differently would be to sub out the chicken thighs for chicken breast because that’s my family’s preference. Other than that, superb.
  3. Our family has a chicken wing craving more than any normal family should – like 3 times a week. Making wings was always a pain and buying them from a restaurant was not only unhealthy, but we were never satisfied with the flavor and crisp factor. Enter this chicken wing recipe from Good Dinner Mom. Not only does this recipe cut your cook time into a quarter of what baking would be, it makes for perfectly cooked chicken wings. The chicken is “fall off the bone” tender. When they’re done, baste them with your favorite sauce and stick them under the broiler. Voila!
  4. Recently, my little guys were sick and my go-to food to make is chicken noodle soup. It was an all-day simmer kind of thing. Not anymore! This recipe from Number-2-Pencil has a pot of flavorful, comforting and delicious chicken noodle soup ready in 20 MINUTES. You read that right. I followed the recipe exactly and we loved this soup. You can also add a splash of half and half if you like a creamier soup. Try it, trust me.
  5. Let’s be honest here. I had never made a cheesecake in my entire life. One day I saw this recipe from My Baking Addiction pop up in an instant pot thread on facebook and curiosity go the best of me. I tried this, and wouldn’t ya know!? It was amazing. I didn’t make the sour cream topping, but it was still delicious. This is seriously so, so easy. You HAVE to try this.

There you have it. 5 foolproof recipes to start you on your instant pot journey. Try them and let me know what you think!
